do i have an accent?
Ok so here goes. The Accent Vlog!Do YOU have an accent? I don't think I do but others have said that yes, in fact, I do.
I'm trying to remember where this originated but can't recall. The accent vlog has been done by several friends including - Mel, Melissa, Kirsten, Bari, Brooke and Tiffany - that I can recall as I'm typing this. Anyway, I had so much fun watching my friends I decided to join in. Even if I do feel silly posting it. (And apparently LOOK silly, too, as proven in the still shot below.) :o)
WARNING: I say "ummm" a lot.
Words I read:
Aunt, Route, Wash, Oil, Theater, Iron, Salmon, Caramel, Fire, Water, Sure, Data, Ruin, Crayon, Toilet, New Orleans, Pecan, Both, Again, Probably, Spitting image, Alabama, Lawyer, Coupon, Mayonnaise, Syrup, Pajamas, Caught
Questions I answered:
•What is it called when you throw toilet paper on a house?
•What is the bug that when you touch it, it curls into a ball?
•What is the bubbly carbonated drink called?
•What do you call gym shoes?
•What do you say to address a group of people?
•What do you call the kind of spider that has an oval-shaped body and extremely long legs?
•What do you call your grandparents?
•What do you call the wheeled contraption in which you carry groceries at the supermarket?
•What do you call it when rain falls while the sun is shining?
•What is the thing you change the TV channel with?
Soooooo...do I have an accent? Have you done this yet? If not, what are you waiting for? DO IT. Cave to the peer pressure. All the cool kids are doing it, k?

So fun! I'm glad you did this and managed to get the video uploaded :) I don't really hear much of an accent, but the different vocabulary around the country is fun. (ps-It's POP.)
Smootches!

Nope don't think you have an accent. When you were still in MN there were words you would say with a certain accent... but can't remember what they were now.. or I'd make you say them LOL ;)

Very good to hear your voice! And no accent. Except you were the second person I heard who said "seerup". :)
